you with vehicle financing and other financial and insurance products
and services, we need information about you. This notice is to help you
understand how we handle nonpublic personal information about you that

of different sources that we think will help us best meet your financial
products and service needs. We collect nonpublic personal information

number and
description, driver’s license number, employer information, auto
insurance related
notices and cancellations.
• Information about your transactions with us, our affiliates, or

• Information we receive from a consumer reporting agency;
• Information we receive from others on your behalf on applications,
forms and other
means, such as your assets, and liabilities;
• Information obtained from transactions or experiences with us or our
affiliated company
such as your payment history, account activity and account balance; and
• Information received about you from outside sources such as,
automobile insurance
companies, motor vehicle dealers, employers, and others (employment
status,
verification of information, vehicle financing information).

We
may disclose all of the information we may collect as described above.
We may also disclose all the information we collect as described above
to companies that perform marketing services on our behalf or to other
financial institutions with whom we have joint marketing agreements,
including but not limited to Northwest Insurance Network, Inc.

Nonpublic Personal Information
We may disclose nonpublic personal
information about you to the following types of third parties:
• Financial service providers such as insurance agents or brokers; and
• Non-financial companies, such as motor vehicle dealers, independent
contractors, or
suppliers who help us market our products or services.
We may also disclose nonpublic personal information about you to
non-affiliated third parties as permitted by law.
Protecting Confidentiality and Security of Customer
We restrict access to nonpublic personal
information about you to those employees who need to know that
information to provide products or services to you. We maintain
physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards that comply with federal
regulations to guard your nonpublic personal information.
How We Use Customer Information
We use nonpublic personal information in order to
fulfill your need for financial products and services, such as vehicle
financing and automobile and other forms of insurance. We also use
nonpublic personal information to determine which products or services
might be of interest to you, and to insure proper billing, update your
accounts, and to comply with any and all legal requirements. In order to
serve you best, we sometimes share nonpublic personal information with
others.
Sharing Customer Information Within the Family
Turner Acceptance Corporation does not sell
nonpublic personal information. The federal Fair Credit Reporting Act
gives you the opportunity to limit the sharing of “Non-experience
information” within our family of companies. “Non-experience
information” includes information that is used, expected to be used, or
collected for the purpose of establishing your experience with us,
including information:
• From your applications, such as your income or marital status;
• From credit reports, such as your credit history; and
• From sources used to verify representations made by you such as your
employment
history.
Your Privacy Choices
This section describes your privacy choices. We have
described the importance of customer information, how we get it, and how
we use it. We have indicated that we may share customer information
within our “family” of companies and with other unrelated companies,
along with our reasons for sharing. No action is required for you to
continue receiving the benefits of information sharing. However, if at
any time you prefer that we not share customer information, you may
instruct us not to share customer information about you (“opt out”). It
is important for you to know that even if you opt out, we will continue
to share customer information under circumstances permitted by law.
Permitted circumstances include, among others, our ability to service
your account, carry out the service or product requested, report our
experiences, protect our business against fraud and unauthorized
transactions, and carry out other authorized activities, such as our
joint marketing agreement with Northwest Insurance Network, Inc.
Explanation of Your Opt Out Right
If you prefer that we not disclose nonpublic personal
information about you to non-affiliated third parties, you may opt out
of those disclosures, that is, you may direct us not to make those
disclosures (other than disclosures permitted by law). If you wish to
opt out of disclosures to non-affiliated third parties, you may call the

You do not need to do anything if you do not wish to opt out. To opt
out, call the telephone number above. You must supply the information
requested in order for us to process your request. We may not be able to
process your request if you do not provide the required information or
if the information you provide is inaccurate.
Computer Tracking
Our web site is not set
up to track, collect or distribute personal information not entered by
visitors. We record the date and time of visits to our website and pages
visited. We do that to determine which pages are visited the most and to
provide a better experience to our customers.
